Free traffic can be awesome… but also elusive.
You want more leads. You want more sales. You need more people to know about your business.
So you put up a business page on Facebook. You grow your followers on Instagram, but you’re still getting very little traffic back to your site. And your leads aren't growing.
Frustrating, isn’t it? Most business owners have been there.
So then you start spending money on Facebook ads. And while they can be great when well done, they sure are not free!
But there’s 1 reason you might be missing on free traffic.
This post may contain affiliate links. It comes at no additional cost to you if you choose to make a purchase. I only recommend things I love and would tell my best friend to use.
It’s a tool that most people know about - consumers and business owners alike. But a lot of business owners ignore it.
- Maybe they think it’s not suitable for their business?
- Maybe they think their customers are not on the platform?
- Maybe they think there’s no money to be made on it?
Well, let me tell you something. This is wrong!
It's a great time now to grab this opportunity for free traffic, while it lasts...
I am on mission to help you make sure you don't miss out on this organic, free traffic.
Do I Have Your Attention Now?
Now, what is this platform I speak of? Pinterest!
Before you roll your eyes at me 🙄 thinking that it's just for recipes and DIY crafts went wrong… humor me a little longer.
Pinterest brings me free traffic day in and day out with very little effort on my part.
How to Use Pinterest to Drive Traffic to Your Website or Blog
Here’s how I grow my traffic and leads on auto-pilot:
- Step 1: Create relevant, high-quality content
- Step 2: Optimize my site for conversions
- Step 3: Create amazing Pinterest graphics that people want to click
- Step 4: Automate sharing on boards, group boards and tribes with Tailwind
- Step 5: Rinse and repeat
At the end of the day, there is a LOT more that goes into a successful Pinterest strategy (just like with any marketing strategy, really).
But these steps and related articles linked above give you the gist to kick-off a Pinterest marketing strategy.
How much time do I spend on Pinterest?
When I started, it took me quite a while to figure out a winning strategy. I spent months testing my pinning schedule, different styles of graphics, boards strategies and more.
Now that my strategy works well, I spend about 30 minutes a week.
What do you need to succeed on Pinterest?
You need 3 things to have Pinterest work for your business:
1- Consistent, High-Quality Content.
It doesn’t necessarily have to be blog posts… Are you producing YouTube videos? Perhaps lives on Facebook? Embed those on your site!
2- Target Market on Pinterest
Is your ideal customer on Pinterest? There are countless niches on Pinterest besides recipes, design and fashion. Think health, small business services, technology, personal development and so much more.
There are quite a lot of men-specific niches as well (40% of new users are men). So don’t make the mistake of discounting Pinterest as a women’s only social media.
3- Solid Marketing Strategy
Ultimately, you need a strong marketing strategy to help you succeed. It’s not rocket science, but there’s an art to it. And the beauty is that once it's set, it runs pretty much on auto-pilot with very little effort on a weekly basis.
I can help you create a strategy personalized to your business needs.
